We are pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring and hosting Care Cook Workshops for healthcare professionals, who are part of The Hampshire Care Association, on Thursday 18th October.
Booking for the Care Cook Workshops with Expert Care Chef, Preston Walker is now live. Preston Walker is the Chef Director of Oak House residential Home and the Leicester Regional Chair for the NACC Midlands. Presenting, alongside expert care chef Preston, will be Chocolate Master Sam Rain, Winner of Bake Off Creme De La Crème.
People living in care homes expect and deserve high quality nutritious food and every care cook worth their salt, strives to meet or exceed these expectations on a daily basis. But unlike other sectors of food service, we also have to deal with catering for conditions such as dysphagia and dementia, which provide their own unique challenges.
